i lifted a lot in college, at my peak i was 211 lbs. assuming i have the time and resources, what is the quickest, most efficient way i can become a professional wrestler? i’m not a pro wrestler but i do know that there is no job you can just magically pick up overnight and that with pro wrestling you’ll always be learning no matter how long you do it for. you could have had two lessons and then be put in a match. you could do it for years and not make enough money to feed a small pet, much less yourself or your family. if you really want it, weight your options, go for it with a reputable school, and if you still want it, keep at it.
it really varies from person to person with how quickly you pick things up and how dedicated you are. i will say, you shouldn’t think about ‘how quickly’ you’ll get in the ring though. if you pick things up quickly, you might be working a match within 3 months, if it takes you a while to pick things up, it could be closer to a year or more. even if it takes you a year to get booked on a show – you’ll be thankful for the extra time and experience. it was the point when i was going to be safe in the ring for myself and the opponent. it really depends on how quickly you pick up the basics, if you can take the bumps properly and listen to your veterans you can be in decent filler matches two months in. also keep this in mind, you are looking for wrestling training not personal training, if a school spends most of the time with you doing sit ups, squats and push ups beyond just a short warm up then forget it.
i know of some guys who were working matches within a month and a half of beginning training – although i think a minimum of six months is safer. that gives you time to learn everything from the basics, to more intermediate/advanced moves, constructing matches, promo work, gimmick etc. aml pro wrestling training center offers classes how long does it take to complete training? how long does it take to ‘make it’ in professional wrestling? danny cage tuesday, . facebook twitter, How long is pro wrestling training site:www.reddit.com&prmd=mnsiv, pro wrestling schools near me, pro wrestling schools near me, pro wrestling school tampa, pro wrestling schools in pa. now, to answer your question, a good training school could take anywhere from six months to three years or longer (with six months being the best case scenario of having superior natural ability when starting) to get someone ready to start taking paid bookings.
